What We Do

Our mission is to promote the gift of life by conducting blood drives throughout Pennsylvania, helping ensure the availability of blood products to Our Community, educating Masons and the general public about the importance of blood and organ donation, and supporting members of Our Community needing blood products and organ transplant services.

The Masonic fraternity teaches compassion and concern for our fellow man. What better way do we have to demonstrate this virtue than by offering the greatest gift – the gift of life – to our society?

Eligibility

All Pennsylvania Masons are eligible for membership in the Masonic Blood+Organ Donor Program. To become a member, complete the New Member Form.

We no longer require dues for membership in the Blood+Organ Donor Program; however, we still have operating expenses. Donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your continued support of this vital program.

Blood, Plasma and Platelet Donations

Qualifying blood drives, platelet and plasma donations are supported with a gift of $10 to a Masonic Charity, 501(c)(3) classification.

Support for Blood and Organ Recipients

The Masonic Blood+Organ Donor Program offers resources and support to members who are blood or organ recipients.

Membership for Masonic Widows

Widows of all Pennsylvania Freemasons are automatically covered, upon application, without the required one unit donation of blood.
